Michael Crichton, god to dino fanboys after writing Jurassic Park and getting Steven Speilberg to bring brachiosaurs, triceratops, velociraptors, gallimimuses, dilophosauruses, and tyrannosaurus rexes to life on screen, has died at the age of 66 following a stealth battle with cancer.
