Iwao Takamoto, the creator of cowardly (and anatomically incorrect) Great Dane Scooby Doo and the equally speech impaired Astro; brain dead, female driver stereotype reinforcer Penelope Pitstop, Hanna Barbera time-filler Atom Ant and asthmatic Muttley, among others. His is a cautionary tale.
