Yet another missed opportunity: Airplane! star Robert Stack died this morning of a heart attack at his home at the age of 84. Of course, no one had him in the pool. Could have used him to resolve the unsolved mystery of why we're almost halfway home and still only have 3 down, but alas, too late. The chips definitely seem to be Stacked against us.

Actually, a two-fer, as basketball hall of famer Dave DeBusschere died of a heart attack yesterday, or as www.stiffs.com put it: DeCeased.
