Other collaborators included Philip Glass, Iggy Pop, Echo & the Bunnymen, Darryl Hall and Weird Al Yankovic. Manzarek also stoked the conspiracy theorist’s fire with his novel The Poet in Exile, which explored the urban legend that Morrison had faked his own death.
