Kicked off for good

or:
Mr. Inside the coffin

or: "The really sad thing is, the Downtown Athletic Club lost another dues paying member," Allison, noting the financial troubles of the Heisman home.

Jay Berwanger, the first player to win the Heisman Award, joined a different kind of fantasy football team this morning at the age of 88 (that's +12 in Dead Pool Years). Tom was the only one to have him, giving him 3 corpses and 23 points, for third place.

The leaderboard:
1st: Ryan 3 dead, 73 points
2nd: Me 3 dead, 41 points
3rd: Tom 3 dead, 23 points
4th: Me again 2 dead, 68 points
5th: Mark 2 dead, 41 points
(tie) Keith 2 dead, 41 points

Joan-Marie, Joy, Jennifer, have you at least thought about bumping off someone on your list to get in the game?

Deadfella

or:
God recalls Godfather
Personally, I blame Clemenza. Anyone else digging the irony that after a life of brutality, John Gotti dies meekly in a hospital bed in Springfield, Mo.? In any event, Ryan and I expected the Teflon Donor would turn estate's evidence, and collected 39 points apiece. With the correct corpse, Ryan takes the lead, with 3 dead and 73 points.

The leaderboard:
1st: Ryan 3 dead, 73 points
2nd: Me 3 dead, 41 points
3rd: Me again 2 dead, 68 points
4th: Mark 2 dead, 41 points
(tie) Keith 2 dead, 41 points

And Joan-Marie, Joy, and Jennifer still await engraved invitations.
